Visual treat by German Bharata natyam Artists
German artist Carolin Goedeke was brilliant in her performance of the Misrachapu talam, Todi ragam Jatiswaram. Rajyashree’s performance of the Meera Bhajan Varnam was a pleasure to watch. The wonderful combination of angikam and aharyam in this dance drew applause from the audience. Rajyashree Ramesh was wonderful in her portrayal of a story based on German mythology which started with her acting the story out, followed by an adaptation of the Bhakta Ramadasu kirthana in Telugu ‘Ye theeruga nannu’ ... The ‘aditya hridayam’ piece of the Alarippu performed by the German dancers received appreciation from the invited guests, distinguished Bharatanatyam dancer Chitra Visweswaran. The performance of the German dancers was consistently good.
